"The Kingdoms of the Middle Ages found their home in the northeast of Abyssnia, establishing a sprawling realm that has never been contested. Chivalry, swordsmen, and knights of fable have made them a nearly unstoppable force in Abyssnia. Above all, they covet honor and glory."


Civilization Traits: Gifted and mighty soldiers, along with swift production of capable archers.


Soldiers

The Kingdoms of the Middle Ages has high-damaging infantry, at the expense of defense, while their archers have a high defense, but slightly lower health and attack. Their cavalry have a high attack, with a slight disadvantage on defense and health and their siege weapons are sturdy and defensible, but at the cost of attack.

Military Technology Advancements

The Kingdoms of the Middle Ages have three distinct military technology advancements that can be researched in the Military Technology tab in the Academy. They all come in three levels, each with some prerequisites of Academy building level and certain other technologies being researched beforehand.

These three technologies all adds additional skills to the different troop types, which are active during combat.


Beowulf (0/3)

  • Sword Theory (Infantry)
    • Increase attack for soldiers in battle by 20/35/50%.
  • Swift Training (Archers)
    • Increase attack and defense for soldiers in battle by 10/18/26%.
  • Riding Apex (Cavalry)
    • Increase attack and defense for soldiers in battle by 10/18/26%.
  • Body of Iron (Siege Weapons)
    • Increase defense for soldiers in battle by 20/35/50%.


Praecepta Militaria (0/3)

  • Forlorn Hope (Infantry)
    • When attacking, there's a 14/24/34% chance to randomly attack 2 adversary troops.
  • Multiple Volley (Archers)
    • When attacking, there's a 12/22/32% chance to attack another target in the same row as the target.
  • Charger (Cavalry)
    • When attacking, there's a 12/21/30% chance to attack a line of adversary troops.
  • Barbed Projectile (Siege Weapons)
    • When attacking, there's a 8/13/18% chance to attack all adversary troops.


The Discourses on Livy (0/3)

  • Pike Squares (Infantry)
    • When under attack, there's a 40% chance to deal 45/79/113 extra skill power damage.
  • Defensive Pole (Archers)
    • Increases defense by 40/70/100% when attacked. (note: it might be when attacked by archers or siege weapons)
  • Weakness Strike (Cavalry)
    • There's a 50% chance to increase attack by 60/105/150% when attacking infantry and archers.
  • Shrapnel (Siege Weapons)
    • When attacking, there's a 50% to deal 36/63/90 additional skill power damage.


Domestic Technology Advancements

The Kingdoms of the Middle Ages have three distinct tech advancements that can be researched in the Domestic Technology Tab. They all come in two levels, each with some prerequisites of Academy building level and certain other technologies being researched beforehand.
